FOLLOWING JESUS STEPS (HIS PRAYER LIVE)

His prayer life style. Jesus was a revolutionary. His prayer life was revolution different from the prayer of the Pharisees and Sadducees. i)                     Discover his attitude to prayer. Lk 11:1-2; Matt 6:5-6; Jn 11: 41-42 For our lord Jesus Christ, prayer is a must in life. It is the connecting life wire between father and son through which worship, request, blessing, and answer to life needs flow. That was why He instructed His disciples saying ‘when you pray…’ and not ‘if you pray…’ the first indicate that it is necessary to pray, while the second indicates probability, a liberty to choose whether to pray or not. We also see Jesus thanking God (in Jn 11: 41-42) that He hear Him always. That also indicates that the prayer was a regular feature in His life. It was more important than food and sleep. If we must walk in His steps and become like Him, there is need for u...

TIPS ON GIVING

Giving is an act of faith  Giving start with the giving of ourself to God and His work because we love Him We do not give because we want to be bless but the blessing of the Lord will follow the giver Please note that we are bless because of what Jesus did on the cross not because of what we give, the Bible says” give it shall be given to you, same measure press down…”Like 6:38, give it shall be given to you and others.   Yes we receive when we give but our blessing is what Jesus did on the cross. Do not give because of pressure or persuading from any body or situation. Afford massage putting pressure to give and attaching it with the blessing of God. Giving should be as it is prompt in our heart not under pressure. Giving is an act of covenant Giving is a reflection of where our heart is.2 Cor. 9:7 “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfull...

THE WORKS OF THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH (GOD), OUR POSITION AS HIS CHILDREN

The spirit of truth (God) and the spirit of error (Satan). Those who have had the gospel and believe it not they believe it not because Satan have work on their heart but those who had and believe receive the blessing. John 6: 44; "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them… Truth have to be made manifest to believe and enter the blessing. The spirit of God draws us to Christ, this is as the result of love the father have for us 1 John 3:1   if Satan cannot influence God, he cannot influence us His children. We are put you in the position of influence We are on the making process to manifest as a child of God John 1:1-12; Rom. 9:3-5, I Tim 3:16, Rom. 10:8-9 Rom. 5:17 Being a child of God make us reign. We reign in Christ because we are king and the words of king is power and authority we shall degree a thing and it shall come to pass Most   Christian leaders have taken all authority y to themselves and want to let the follower depend on them...

THE TIME IS SHORT, THE STAGE IS SET, GOD NEED YOU TO WORK AND HARVEST SOUL FOR HIM

It is more certain and getting clearer by the day that the coming of our Lord Jesus is near, that we are in the last hour. The devil is seriously establishing his kingdom on earth. The stage is set for the devil to enthrone the earth. The time is short for him and the devil is aware of the timing. And on a more serious note the church of the last days this our generation is losing her voice. The church is more concern about the things of the flesh than the things of the kingdom; the churches have forgotten the coming of our Lord Jesus. The coming of our Lord Jesus message have been remove from the churches and replace with prosperities and wealth message, fighting and killing your enemy and other message that takes man attention away of the coming of Jesus. Sex attraction is on everything the television program, the movies we watch, the music we listen, the dress we wear, and lawless society. This is the devil works the stage have already set for him to manifest. The early ...

THE SALVATION JESUS BROUGHT TO THE WORLD

Image
Salvation is not about joining a church, neither can it be found in a particular denomination (John 4:20-24). It is not doing good things (Obeying the Ten Commandment) or trying to be good (Acts 10:2-6; Gal. 2:21; Phi. 3:4-10). It is not in water baptism, holy communion, anointing, born into a Christian family yet not saved. Salvation is not transferable, neither is it hereditary. It is the consequence of a personal decision to accept by faith, the finished work of Christ – the Life that Jesus has offered humanity.(John 1:12, 5:24; Rom. 10:9, 10). WHAT IS SALVATION? Salvation simply means freedom or deliverance from the power (Rom. 6:14), guilt (Rom. 8:1, 2), and consequences of sin (Rom. 6:23). This has been made possible only by the death and resurrection   of Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:8-11; John   3:16 Gal. 1:3-5; Titus 2:13-14; Rev. 1:5). WHY IS SALVATION IMPORTANT   Man is lost in sin: Isaiah 53:6; Rom. 3:23; Matt. 9:36; Matt. 15:24 Ad...
