Few Steps to Maturity as a Christian




Numbers 11: 21-26; Philippians 4:13; 3:10
1.     Grow in grace and avoid growing waywardly in the things of God Num14:28-30
2.     Be positive in thinking, talking and in faith and move by faith not by sight like Joshua and Caleb. Number 14:36-42
3.     Resemble Christ in all aspects of life, No character you exhibit now that has not been displayed in the bible being good or evil .
4.     Act 6:7, To make disciple of all nation. Be a soul winner motivate people to serve the Lord and to work for Him to enable the work of God to grow through you.
5.     Avoid rebellion against authority
6.     Mind what you say, your word is yourself,  by your word you shall be condemn or justified
7.     You are appointed to serve as steward 1cor 15:58
8.     Romans 13: 1-5, Be humble and avoid pride in all what you do. Psalm 138:6. Pro 13:20
9.     Pursue your vision and never you deviate from it  Pro29:18
10.                        Always standing in gap for church & superior leader in prayer. Ezekiel 22:30
11.                        Always ready to work in obedience to God and higher authority of the church in all endeavor

BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING AS YOU RELATE WITH CO-MEMBER & MINISTER OF GOD
1.     Pride Prov 28:25-26.
2.     Prove not that you know it all . Only God has monopoly of wisdom. Prov. 29:17, 19.
3.     Malice and anger can stagnant someone life spiritual. Always Forgive. Phil 3:13-14, 1:22

TIPS ON GIVING

Giving is an act of faith  Giving start with the giving of ourself to God and His work because we love Him We do not give because we want to be bless but the blessing of the Lord will follow the giver Please note that we are bless because of what Jesus did on the cross not because of what we give, the Bible says” give it shall be given to you, same measure press down…”Like 6:38, give it shall be given to you and others.   Yes we receive when we give but our blessing is what Jesus did on the cross. Do not give because of pressure or persuading from any body or situation. Afford massage putting pressure to give and attaching it with the blessing of God. Giving should be as it is prompt in our heart not under pressure.
